How to Get Involved at FBC
One of the singular joys and significant challenges of joining a new local church is figuring out how to feel connected to the congregation.
While we certainly have ample opportunities to volunteer at serve at FBC, none of these is the primary way that we encourage members to connect to the larger life of this local church. It’s not that such approaches are necessarily wrong, but we do think they may be less than the Biblical ideal.
We don’t want your primary point of identification with FBC to be what you do for us. Rather, we want your connection to FBC to be defined most clearly by how you know and love, and are known and loved by, all sorts of people in the congregation. We want you to have relationships that are different than the way the world loves. We want you to be part of the family, not just volunteer help.

Bible Reading Plans

Christ Over All
Christ Over All is a ministry that provides long-form essays and podcasts which aspire to edify the church with evergreen content that will help Christians think in biblical categories and apply Christ’s preeminence to all areas of life.
Christ Over All serves to remind and equip believers to see Christ as Lord over all things in creation, the church, and culture.
The Sword & The Trowel
The Sword and The Trowel is a podcast associated with Founders Ministries which is committed to encouraging the recovery of the gospel and the biblical reformation of local churches.
Drawing its name from the biblical story in Nehemiah, where the builders of Jerusalem held a sword in one hand and a trowel in the other, their mission is to contend for a biblical gospel (the sword) while building up the church (the trowel).
They discuss issues of theology, culture, and ministry from a Reformed Baptist perspective. The podcast aims to encourage and equip Christians and pastors to apply biblical teachings to contemporary issues.
