Our Story & Mission

Foundation Bible Church (FBC) was established on September 8, 2024, as a church plant commissioned by Pleasant Home Community Church in Gresham, Oregon. On December 1, 2024, FBC officially launched in Damascus, Oregon, with a desire to glorify God by establishing a faithful gospel witness in Clackamas County and beyond.

From its beginning, FBC has been committed to biblical faithfulness through the expository preaching of God’s Word. We seek to fulfill Christ’s mission in every place, space, and context where God has providentially placed us. Our aim is to equip, strengthen, disciple, and encourage believers for a vibrant witness to Jesus Christ among the nations.

We believe that church planting is a vital expression of the Great Commission, as new congregations are established to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and reproduce faithful gospel-centered churches for the glory of God.
