Pastor/Elder

Jason is a devoted husband to his wife, Lisa, and the father of two daughters. A native Oregonian, he was called to serve as Pastor of Foundation Bible Church on September 8, 2024, when the church was commissioned as a church plant from Pleasant Home Community Church, where he faithfully served as an elder for ten years.

Jason is passionate about serving the local church through the faithful teaching of God’s Word and the discipleship of believers. His desire is to see Christians grow to maturity in Christ, using their God-given gifts and abilities to serve their families, strengthen the local church, and advance Christ’s kingdom throughout the world.

Before entering vocational ministry, Jason served in law enforcement for more than seventeen years. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, studying and teaching Scripture, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.

Among his favorite books, apart from the Bible, are Holiness by J. C. Ryle, Communion with God by John Owen, and Knowing God by J. I. Packer.

Pastor/Elder

Born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Zach grew up as a “PK”—a pagan kid. After graduating from high school, he attended Montana State University to study engineering, where he was first introduced to the gospel of God’s grace. It was also in Montana that he met his wife, Jenn.

In 2012, Zach and Jenn moved to Oregon, where they are now raising their four children—one son and three daughters. After being a member of Pleasant Home Community Church for two years, Zach was sent out to help establish Foundation Bible Church.

Zach is passionate about family discipleship and equipping men to grow into Christlike leaders in their homes, churches, and communities. He also enjoys teaching and encouraging the next generation of young people to follow Christ faithfully.

When he is not serving his family or the church, Zach enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and eating good barbecue—especially brisket. Among his favorite books are Knowing Christ by Mark Jones and The Glory of Christ by John Owen.

Deacon, Music Ministry Leader

Brandon and his wife, Lucia, along with their daughter Hazel, are Oregon natives. They love spending time together outdoors, exploring God’s creation, delighting in watching Hazel grow, and seeking to raise her in the knowledge and love of the Lord.

During the week, Brandon works as an electrician. In his free time, he enjoys sharing good meals with friends, working on projects, studying theology, and putting together a puzzle or two.

Brandon and Lucia also share a love for worship and music. Together, they are passionate about serving Foundation Bible Church through their musical gifts and encouraging the church in gathered worship.
