FBC Leadership

  • Jason Mills and his family

    Jason Mills

    Pastor/Elder

Jason is a devoted husband to his wife Lisa, and the father of two daughters. He is a native Oregonian and was called to be the Pastor of Foundation Bible Church on September 8, 2024, as a church plant that was commissioned by Pleasant Home Community Church, where Jason served as an elder for over nine years. Jason desires to faithfully serve the local church and seeks to disciple believers to be complete in Christ, using their spiritual gifts and talents to serve their families, the local body, and the universal body around the world. Prior to vocational ministry Jason served in Law Enforcement for over seventeen years. He loves spending time with his family, teaching God’s Word, reading, and being in the outdoors. Some of his favorite books besides the Bible are: “Holiness” by JC Ryle, “Communion with God” by John Owens, and "Knowing God" by J.I. Packer.

  • Zach Canjar

    Pastor/Elder (EIP)

Born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Zach grew up as a “PK” …a pagan kid. Upon graduating high school, he went to Engineering school at Montana State University, where he first was introduced to the Gospel of Grace. It was also in Montana where Zach met his wife, Jenn. They moved to Oregon in 2012 and have four children, one son and three daughters. After joining Pleasant Home Community Church for two years, Zach was sent out as an elder in training for Foundation Bible Church. Zach has a passion for family discipleship, leading and teaching men to grow into Christlike leaders in their home and in their communities, and teaching the upcoming generation of youth. He loves spending time with his family, reading, eating meat (especially brisket), and being outside. His favorite books are: “Knowing Christ” by Mark Jones and “The Glory of Christ” by John Owens.

  • Brandon Taylor & Family

    Brandon Taylor

    Music Ministry Leader

Brandon and his wife Lucia, along with their daughter, Hazel, are Oregon natives.  They love spending time together in the great outdoors exploring God’s creation, watching Hazel learn as she grows, and seeking to raise her in the knowledge and love of the Lord. When he’s not working as an electrician during the week, Brandon loves to enjoy good food with friends, work on projects, learn about theology and put together a puzzle or two. Brandon and Lucia both love to worship and play music together, and are passionate about serving Foundation Bible Church in this capacity.

FBC believes the consistent pattern throughout the New Testament is that each local body of believers is shepherded by a plurality of God-ordained elders. As a new church plant, FBC is receiving elder oversight from its sending church as we actively develop and commission local elders.
